How to use the Email Verifier

Check whether an email address is valid: syntax, domain, mail servers and disposable domains.

  1. 1 Enter the email address.
  2. 2 Click Verify email.
  3. 3 Read the verdict and checks, including any suggested correction for typos.

Example and practical tips

name@gmial.com passes the syntax check but suggests name@gmail.com. An address at a disposable service like mailinator.com is flagged as not deliverable for real communication.

Frequently asked questions

Can this confirm the mailbox exists?

Not reliably. Most mail servers refuse to confirm individual mailboxes, so the check covers the address format, the domain and its mail servers without sending email.

What is a role-based address?

An address such as info@ or support@ that usually reaches a team rather than one person.
