Frequently asked questions
Why are US and UK gallons different?
They come from different historical standards. A UK (imperial) gallon is about 20% larger than a US gallon.
How many milliliters are in a cup?
A US cup is about 236.6 ml. Metric recipes often use 250 ml cups.
Is a cubic centimeter the same as a milliliter?
Yes. 1 cm³ equals exactly 1 ml.
