How to use the DMARC Record Generator
Build a valid DMARC TXT record with policy, reporting and alignment options.
- 1 Enter your domain and choose a policy: none to monitor, quarantine to send failures to spam, or reject to block them.
- 2 Add the address that should receive aggregate reports and adjust the optional settings if needed.
- 3 Copy the host name and TXT value into your DNS provider, then confirm it with the DMARC checker.
Example and practical tips
For example.com with p=quarantine and reports to dmarc@example.com, create a TXT record at _dmarc.example.com with v=DMARC1; p=quarantine; rua=mailto:dmarc@example.com.

Which policy should I start with?
Start with p=none to collect reports without affecting delivery, then move to quarantine and reject once all your senders pass SPF or DKIM.
What does pct do?
pct applies the policy to only a percentage of failing mail, which lets you roll out quarantine or reject gradually.
