How to use the Spin the Wheel
Spin the wheel is a quick, fair way to pick one name or option from a list. Type your entries, press Spin and the wheel lands on a winner. Use one of the ready-made wheels such as yes or no, a coin, dice, numbers, truth or dare or what to eat, or fill the wheel with 12 random animals, countries, foods and more.
- 1 Type your names or choices into the box, one per line, or pick a ready-made wheel from the buttons above it.
- 2 Optionally give the wheel a title, choose a colour set, set the spin time and turn sound or confetti on or off.
- 3 Click Spin or the wheel itself. Remove the winner if you want to pick again from what is left; every pick is kept in the results list.
Example and practical tips
To choose who presents first in a class, paste the student names, tick “Remove the winner after each spin” and keep spinning. Each name leaves the wheel once chosen, and the results list shows the full order.
Frequently asked questions
Is every entry equally likely to win?
Yes. The winner is chosen with your browser’s cryptographic random number generator before the animation starts, and every entry gets an equal slice. Add an entry twice to double its chance.
Can I share my wheel?
Yes. Copy share link puts your entries and title into the link itself, so anyone who opens it sees the same wheel. Nothing is stored on our servers.
How many entries can the wheel hold?
Up to 200 entries. Long entries are shortened on the wheel to fit their slice, but the full text is shown when it wins.
Can I use it on a projector or big screen?
Yes. Click Full screen to show only the wheel at a larger size, which works well for classrooms, streams and events.
