A plan advertised as 100 Mbps that tests at 30 Mbps on Wi-Fi but 95 Mbps over a cable points to a Wi-Fi problem, not the connection.

How much data does the test use?
Up to about 150 MB, depending on your speed.
Why is my result lower than my plan?
Wi-Fi, other devices, VPNs, busy evenings and the distance to the server all reduce measured speed.
