Install in Chrome or Edge
Set up your extension in four simple steps.
- Download a ZIP and extract it into a folder you will keep.
- Open chrome://extensions in Chrome or edge://extensions in Edge.
- Turn on Developer mode, select Load unpacked, and choose the extracted folder containing manifest.json.
- Pin the extension from your browser’s Extensions menu. For images and selected JSON, use the page’s right-click menu.
Privacy and permissions
JSON formatting, QR generation and image resizing run on your device. These extensions do not upload content to ToolzHive, use analytics, or read browsing history. ToolzHive links open when you click them.
Image Tools asks for access to the selected image’s website when you click “Load selected image”. This permission covers that website and can be revoked in your browser’s extension settings. The extension fetches only the image you selected. If a site blocks downloads, choose a saved image file instead.
Image and Developer Tools temporarily store the selected image URL or JSON in browser session storage to pass it into a new tool tab. The input is removed when the tab reads it. QR Generator reads the current tab’s URL when you open the extension. On restricted browser pages, enter the URL yourself.
