How to use AMP Validator
- Enter the AMP page URL (a normal page that links to an AMP version works too).
- Click Validate AMP.
- Fix each error listed, then validate again.
Worked example
An AMP article that includes a normal <img> tag fails validation. Replace it with <amp-img> with width and height to pass.
Is AMP still needed?
Google no longer requires AMP for Top Stories, but valid AMP pages are still served from the AMP cache where supported.
