How to Use CSV to HTML Table

Convert CSV, TSV or spreadsheet data into a clean HTML table with a header row, basic styles and right-aligned numbers. Copy or download. Free converter.

About this tool

The CSV to HTML table converter turns comma-, semicolon-, tab- or pipe-separated data into a ready-to-use HTML table. It detects the delimiter automatically, handles quoted values that contain commas, makes the first row a header, can right-align numbers and add basic styles, and shows a live preview.

How to use CSV to HTML Table

  1. Paste your CSV data or data copied from a spreadsheet.
  2. Check the delimiter and the header row setting.
  3. Copy the table code or download it as an HTML file.

Worked example

A line like "Laptop, 14 inch",899.00,12 keeps "Laptop, 14 inch" in a single cell because it is quoted, while the price and stock go into their own columns.

What if my data uses semicolons?

Automatic detection picks the most common separator, and you can also choose comma, semicolon, tab or pipe yourself.

How are quotes handled?

Values in double quotes can contain commas and line breaks, and doubled quotes ("") become a single quote character, following the CSV standard.

Is my data uploaded?

No. The conversion happens entirely in your browser.
