How to Use Domain Expiration Checker

Check when a domain name expires and how many days are left, with the registrar, registration date and status from the official RDAP registry record.

About this tool

Check when a domain name expires and how many days are left.

How to use Domain Expiration Checker

  1. Enter the domain name.
  2. Click Check expiry.
  3. Read the days left. Renew or enable auto-renew well before the date.

Worked example

A domain that expires in 20 days is shown in red. Log in to the registrar named in the result and renew it before it lapses and someone else registers it.

What happens when a domain expires?

It usually enters a grace period, then a redemption period with a high restore fee, and is then released for anyone to register.

Why is there no expiry date?

A few registries do not publish expiry dates in their public records.
