How to use Google Fonts Pair Finder

  1. Enter Preview heading to see pairs with your own sample text.
  2. Filter by All, Modern, Classic, Playful or Bold.
  3. Choose a pair and use Copy CSS for the embed information and font-family rules.

Worked example

Try a product name as the heading and compare a classic pair with a modern pair.

Are the fonts available offline automatically?

No. The preview loads fonts from Google Fonts; your site needs its own font-loading setup or hosted font files.

Does copying CSS apply the fonts to my site?

No. Add the embed or font files and apply the family rules to the appropriate elements in your stylesheet.
