Test mouse buttons, double clicks, scroll wheel and pointer movement.
How to use Mouse Test
- Click each button inside the test area and watch the counters.
- Double-click, then scroll up and down.
- Move the mouse quickly in circles to see the movement event rate.
Worked example
If one click adds 2 to the left counter or triggers a double-click, the switch is worn and “double clicking”.
What does movement events per second show?
It approximates how often the browser receives mouse updates, which is limited by the mouse’s polling rate and the screen refresh rate.
Why don’t back and forward buttons register?
Some mice need their software to send these buttons, and some browsers use them for navigation.
