How to use Add Page Numbers to PDF

  3. Click Add page numbers to download the numbered PDF.

Worked example

For a report with a cover page, number from page 2 and start counting at 1, so the first content page shows “Page 1 of 11”.

What does “outside” position mean?

Numbers alternate between the right and left corners on odd and even pages, like a printed book.

Are rotated pages handled?

Yes. Numbers follow each page’s rotation so they appear the right way up.
