Worked example

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The conversion runs in your browser, so the file stays on your device.

Why is my scanned PDF empty?

Scanned PDFs are images with no text layer. They need OCR before their text can be extracted.

Is the layout kept exactly?

Text, headings and paragraphs are kept, but complex layouts such as columns, tables and images are simplified.
