About this tool
A free online scientific calculator with trig, logs, powers, memory and history.
How to use Scientific Calculator
- Choose DEG, RAD or GRAD for angles.
- Click the keys or type on your keyboard; a live preview shows the result as you go.
- Press = or Enter, then reuse results from the history or with “ans”.
Worked example
sin(30) + 2² × 3 gives 12.5 in degree mode. The same expression in radians gives a different answer, so check the angle mode first.
What order are operations done in?
Standard order: brackets, powers, then multiplication and division, then addition and subtraction. 2 + 3 × 4 is 14.
Does implicit multiplication work?
Yes. 2π, 3(4 + 1) and 2sin(30) are multiplied automatically.
