About this tool

Standard, long, extra-wide and stall shower curtain and liner sizes.

How to use Shower Curtain Sizes

  1. Measure the rod length and its height above the floor.
  2. Pick a curtain wide enough to cover the rod.
  3. Choose a length that hangs 1–2 in above the floor.

Worked example

A standard tub with a 60 in rod at 76 in high suits a standard 72 × 72 in curtain.

Are shower curtain sizes the same in every country?

No. The US, UK and Europe use different standard sizes, so check the chart for your region and the product’s own measurements.

Why do inches and centimeters not match exactly?

Products are made to round numbers in one system, so the other system’s figures are rounded conversions.
