Worked example

A SIP of 10,000 a month at 12% for 15 years is estimated at about 50 lakh, of which 18 lakh is invested.

What is a step-up SIP?

A SIP whose monthly amount rises each year, for example by 10%, usually in line with income.

No. Mutual fund returns depend on the market.
