How to use the Number Plate Maker
The number plate maker lets you design a vehicle registration plate image in seconds. Start from a style preset for private, commercial, government, diplomatic or temporary vehicles, type the plate number and a region label such as PUNJAB or ICT, adjust the plate, text and border colors, and choose a wide car plate or a square bike plate. Download it as PNG or JPG for mockups, presentations, videos or designs.
- 1 Choose a plate style preset, or pick your own plate, text and border colors.
- 2 Type the plate number and optional top and bottom labels. Choose the wide car or square bike shape; a bike plate splits the number onto two lines at the dash.
- 3 Download the plate as PNG or JPG. Click any color code to copy it.
Example and practical tips
For a car-dealership website mockup, choose Private, type LEA-2026 and the top label PUNJAB, then download a PNG with transparent corners to place on a car photo. Use Random combination to explore color ideas for a custom showroom display plate.
Frequently asked questions
Are these official plate colors?
The presets are design starting points, not legal specifications. Official plate colors, fonts and sizes are set by your provincial Excise & Taxation department, so check with them before ordering a real plate.
Can I use the image as a real number plate?
No. The images are for mockups, designs and illustrations only. Real plates must be issued by, or made to the specification of, the vehicle registration authority, and displaying a fake plate is illegal.
What image sizes do I get?
Car plates download at 1040 × 220 pixels and bike plates at 560 × 400 pixels, sharp enough for websites, slides and videos. PNG keeps the rounded corners transparent.
