Work out the concentration of a reconstituted peptide and how many units to draw on a U-100 insulin syringe for your dose in mcg or mg.

About this tool

Work out concentration and syringe units for a reconstituted peptide dose.

How to use Peptide Reconstitution Calculator

  1. Enter the amount of peptide in the vial and the water added.
  2. Enter your dose in mcg or mg.
  3. Read the syringe units, volume and doses per vial.

Worked example

A 5 mg vial with 2 mL of water is 2.5 mg/mL, so a 250 mcg dose is 0.1 mL, or 10 units on a U-100 syringe.
