How to Use Pharmacokinetic Calculator

Non-compartmental pharmacokinetics from time–concentration data: Cmax, Tmax, AUC to last and infinity, λz, half-life, MRT, clearance and volume.

About this tool

Non-compartmental Cmax, Tmax, AUC, half-life, clearance and volume.

How to use Pharmacokinetic Calculator

  1. Enter the dose and route, then paste time, concentration pairs.
  2. Choose how many terminal points to use and the AUC method.
  3. Read Cmax, Tmax, AUC, half-life, clearance and volume.

Worked example

A 500 mg oral dose peaking at 9.4 mg/L at 2 h has a terminal half-life of 4.2 h and an AUC₀–∞ of 72.5 mg·h/L.

What is the linear-up/log-down method?

It uses straight lines while levels rise and exponential curves while they fall, which is more accurate for elimination phases.

Why are clearance and volume “apparent” for oral doses?

Without IV data the bioavailability F is unknown, so the results are CL/F and Vz/F.
