How to use the Subtraction Calculator

What are the minuend and subtrahend?
In 10 − 3 = 7, the minuend is 10 (the number you start with), the subtrahend is 3 (the number taken away) and the difference is 7.
What is the absolute difference?
It is the distance between two numbers without a sign, so the absolute difference between 3 and 10 is 7 whichever you subtract from which.
Is the result exact with decimals?
